cuz frankly, I don't know what I'm doing with them. XD
Okay anyway, this is my submission for
club's contest. I chose this theme NOT because they're having a child... if anyone thought about that... (I actually didn't consider the possibility of that assumption until way later. XD)
I chose this theme because this is how I see their relationship. They're adults, but when it comes to love, they're two children fumbling around in the dark. They've gone their whole lives not knowing what love is, and only now are they learning what hope and joy truly is. With baby steps, they're learning to open up to each other, letting down barriers slowly. They've been learning to rebuild their lives to accept simple caring. It's what they want, but it's not what they understand. They can't go by anyone's standard of a relationship, because they simply have their own.
That's how I see it, anyway. :3 I hope you enjoy!

I completely agree on your take of the word because there's no better way to understand these characters on their emotional side than what you explained.
